What no iPhone app can do — including this one

  • • Detect a fake cell tower (IMSI‑catcher / Stingray) — iOS gives apps no baseband access. We do watch for a forced 2G/3G downgrade, the one related sign iOS exposes.
  • • See a purely passive sniffer — a device that only listens emits nothing to detect.
  • • List nearby Wi‑Fi networks — iOS blocks it; our optional Mac companion (CloakwireX Sensor) fills that in when you're near it.
  • • Switch off radios or delete other apps — but Cloak cuts their network, which is what actually stops them.
